 Walink was inspired by my own experience living abroad, when I often felt lonely without friends nearby.
I imagined that people coming from abroad to live in Japan might feel the same,
and I decided to become the presence I wished I had —
a local friend, a trusted guide, someone always there to rely on.

At the same time, we create opportunities for local Japanese to connect with newcomers,
easing fear and fostering understanding.

My goal is to build a community where everyone is accepted,
and to contribute to a Japan that proudly shares its Omotenashi, its spirit of heartfelt hospitality,
making a meaningful difference in the lives of those living here.
